Decoder dir Jürgen Muschalek aka Muscha (1984)
Pivotal Industrial document featuring FM Einheit of Einsturzende Neubaten, Genesis P-Orridge, and William S. Burroughs about the sonic warfare of Muzak that I did not know existed until earlier today. The film pays liberal homage to Burroughs, not only in its direct references to The Electronic Revolution and Wild Boys, but also in its method of juxtaposing cut-up found footage with filmed footage, with notable stock from the anti-Reagan riots in West German Berlin, as well as some disturbing totally NSFW violent imagery played in peep show booths as Soft Cell's "Seedy Films" plays. The scene where Burroughs appears too seems a little unreal, with FM Einheit's scenes and Burrough's filmed on different stock, appearing to be on different coasts until they appear together and Burroughs states ""You start from zero preconceptions - you want 'nothing special' - here it is". Fantastic soundtrack as well, as you might have gathered.

Dope Guns and Fucking Up Your Video Deck- Amphetamine Reptile Records sampler (1990)
Hard to think of a more extinct time period/moment in the everything is now present than 1990 fringe noise punk. Weird DIY time capsule
